After seeing how much stress a disobedient dog can bring to a person’s life, I knew there needed to be a solution. So, I created an easy-to-understand program that teaches the dog as well as the owner, in a very short period of time, how to coexist peacefully. The result, a dog that can be a cohesive part of the family, where both dog and owner can live their best life together.

Even though we did our research before getting our Australian Cattle Dog (blue heeler), Willie, we still had no clue what we were getting ourselves into. When we started training at 5 months, Willie was a typical ACD….high energy, high drive, herding anything she could and trying her hardest to be the alpha. Pro K-9 was amazing not only with teaching Willie obedience and manners, and breaking bad habits, but also when it came to teaching us how to teach her.

Our Focus

We start with stopping unwanted behavior. Can you imagine what life would be like if your dog would just stop jumping, pulling on the leash, barking and lunging at people, destroying your house, etc. You don’t have to imagine any more. We will make it a reality.

What do we really “need” from our dogs? We need, calm when it’s time to be calm. We need dog’s that listen when the chaos of life is happening around us. When it’s time to wind down we need a comforter. When it’s time to play we need a playmate. Our programs are tailored to give you all these things, in a much shorter time than you might think.

Whether you are someone who likes to stay home a lot, or someone who has dreams of taking your dog to work, on hikes, or to restaurants. We have a program designed especially for you and your pup.

We sent our 18 month old Bully Sarge for the two week board training. Every issue we had with our Bully was addressed. Door manners in and out the house, well mannered around company (no jumping when greeting), along with the basic obedient commands. You couldn't ask for a better trainer for your pet.

OUR PROGRAMS

We do the work, so you don’t have to. All our programs are easy to follow, and the best part is, your dog will already know what to do.

Our programs are designed to make the learning process so easy for you and your dog. It works like this, during your consultation we will help you decide the program that fits you and your dog best. Before training starts you will receive detailed instructions about what you will need to bring for your dog’s stay with us. At drop off we’ll get additional information from you to be sure we give your dog the best care during their stay. You will receive videos explaining every aspect of the training we are doing with your dog during training. While your pup is with us you will receive daily report cards with a photo or video letting you know the progress and struggles. At the end of training, we do sessions with you to teach you everything your dog learned, showing you how to continue to get results.
